1.    The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The academic instructions imparted at this School are designed to prepare students for the following examination:- 

   (a)   All India Secondary School Examination (Class – X) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class – XII) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi under the 10+2 pattern of school education.

  (b)   Union Public Service Commission Examination for admission to the National Defence Academy and other Defence Academies.

2.    Cadets give NDA Entrance Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission during the +2 stage after passing Class XI. Since there is an emphasis on Science Stream in the NDA curriculum, Sainik Schools cater only to the science stream subjects in Classes XI and XII. Besides academic advancement the students are encouraged to develop their creative faculties through co-curricular activities and Socially Useful Productive Work. They are also introduced systematically to all major games along with NCC training.
