In Sainik School Tilaiya various sports activities are conducted in which participation of girl cadets is appreciable. Inter House Athletics was organised which included both track and field events. The girl cadets participated enthusiastically in both track and field events and proved their mettle.
Inter Zonal Games was organised at Sainik School Purulia in which girl cadets bagged many medals and certificates in various events .They received positions in 100M , 200M, 400 M , 4×100 M Relay race.
National Games was conducted at Sainik school Chandrapur in which Manju Hansda received Gold Medal in Sub Junior Girls category. Cadet Palvi, Cadet Vidya ,Cadet Samiksha, Cadet Sandhya received Bronze Medal in Relay race.
The primary aim of Sainik School is to prepare boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the Defence Services and those who do not make the grade, for responsible positions in the various other walks of life.
